Bowed Roller (Banana Roller)
The bowed roller ensures surface smoothness by unfolding the film material with a curvature, and the bending angle can be adjusted by using the trapezoidal screw.
The roller can be fixed either foot mounted (HCW) or flange mounted (HCP). Bowed roller can increase the transverse tension and reduce the wrinkles and slack on the material effectively.

Roller (Banana Roller)
The bowed
roller makes the surface smooth by using the bending curvature to unfold the
film material.
The
expanding effect is resulted by the radius of curvature and contact angle.
It can be fixed as foot mounted (HCW) or flange mounted (HCP).
These
variables are generally determined by the thickness of material. For instance,
if the distance between two mounting centers is 2 meters:
1.
For thin materials such as paper,
cloth, film or foil, the contact angle ranges from 30° to 60°.
2.
For thick materials such as tape,
thick textile, or metal sheet, the contact angle ranges from 60° to 90°.
