M-ZKC Series Magnetic Powder Clutch
Minply magnetic powder clutch makes use of electromagnetic induction to drive magnetic powder for transmission torque, achieving stable torque and efficient tension control throughout the rewinding process. Powder clutches are often equipped at the rewinding unit. There are various models available depending on the torque output (kgf-m): 1.2／2.5／5／10／20／40... etc.

▍About Minply Magnetic Powder Clutches
When the magnetic powder has been activated, input shaft would transmit the torque to output shaft.
Powder clutches utilize electromagnetism to generate corresponding torque and may be controlled individually. Even under the variable reel diameter, users would only need to control the torque for maintaining constant web tension.

Minply offers magnetic powder as well! The customers are recommended to replace the magnetic powder when the output torque can no longer reach its maximum at 100% activation.
▍Minply Magnetic Powder Clutches Features
When the magnetic powder clutches are powered, and with magnetic powder being the medium, a linearity between torque and energizing current can be observed. Through controlling the current, these clutches can easily control the torque or even produce buffer effect when starting or stopping the machinery.
The rotational speed of input and output shafts are irrelevant to the torque. Therefore, the users can control solely the torque and will not be affected by slipping shaft's rotation. The clutches are suitable for use under tension controlled scenarios.
